I work at the point where an unclear need has to become a real system. That means understanding the field, choosing what to build, writing the code, and staying close enough to see whether it works.
The short version
I’m Larry Xue, also known as Yujian Xue. I’m a forward deployed engineer and independent builder based in China. I work across product definition, interface design, application architecture, AI systems, infrastructure, launch, and the operational details that determine whether software survives contact with use.
My background in cloud and enterprise products taught me to respect permissions, failure states, long-running tasks, dense information, migration, and the cost of a misleading interface. Building independently taught me how to find a market, cut scope, ship, distribute, support, measure, and change direction without waiting for a complete organization to form around the work.

The public record spans operational cloud interfaces, browser media products, applied AI systems, open-source fixes, design systems, developer utilities, product launches, and writing produced after the work was tested.
Some projects are products I own. Some are interventions inside larger systems. Some are sanitized because the original environment is private. Together they show how I reason when the boundaries are incomplete.
