2026 · PUBLIC PRODUCT AND OPEN-SOURCE COMPANION REPOS

Video2Any

A browser tool that extracts the slides from a lecture video: it watches the recording for the frames where the slide actually changes, keeps one clean image of each, and exports the deck as PowerPoint or PDF. The recording never leaves the machine.

What had to change

A lecture recording is the video that cannot be handed to a server — it sits behind a course login, and the person who needs the slides is not the person who owns the file. So the deck has to be recovered from what the recording shows, in the browser: detect the moments the slide changes, keep one frame each, and reach the platforms that never release the file at all through an extension that reads the tab instead of downloading it.

Want one of these?

Same person, start to finish. That is the whole offer.
